A Sunny Day Afternoon in Hyde Park

Summer is on its way. The weather is getting warmer. People have left their coats and pullovers in their closets. If you have been in the English School in London for a few weeks, you probably noticed that it is high time to spend more time outdoors.
London is plenty of parks and green spaces, the most famous of them being probably Hyde Park. After studying English Courses during the morning, it should be very nice for you to give up for a while the excitement of London and enjoy peace and quietness during the afternoon.
Covering 142 hectares, Hyde Park is London’s largest open space. The Serpentine Lake is very famous for sailing and boating. You can also go there and feed the many ducks and swans which live there.
You should also invite all your new friends you met at the English School in London to go to Hyde Park to picnic together. Remember to take a ball with you. There is a large meadow where you can play football or any other game you prefer.
Hyde Park is so big that you can just walk and visit all the landmarks, for instance, the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain or the Peter Pan statue.
Remember, if you want to enjoy a relaxing moment, after your English Courses, go to Hyde Park and you will forget that you are in the middle of London.
